No Other Gods!
Exodus 20:4
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
The above is a commandment, emphasizing the importance of not creating a 'substitute' that takes the place of the 'INVISIBLE' GOD (YAHWEH/JESUS).
There are many 'religions' that practice this very thing, by worshipping 'angels/images of angels', picture of a white or black Jesus, worshipping the sun, moon, philosophers, theologians, palm readers, sorcerers, and etc. THIS IS AN INSULT TO THE 'MOST HIGH' (JESUS).
The LORD JESUS (YAHWEH) is the creator and maker of all things. In the beginning, he created the heavens and the earth, and everything that is in it.
John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
While some are practicing 'religious' acts, using the 'elements' of this world is also an insult to the Lord because:
Romans 1:25
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
People serve people (HUSBANDS, WIVES, CHILDREN, POPULAR CHURCH FOLKS, PASTORS, AND THOSE WHO ARE IN THE LIMELIGHT), drugs and alcohol, money, houses, cars/trucks, diamonds, gold, crystals, and other 'elements' in this world, but refuse to be SUBMISSIVE TO THE MOST HOLY GOD.
There is a 'front' in the souls of people that desire to be 'accepted' by the world (family, friends, groups, and etc), therefore placing themselves on display to GRAB THE ATTENTION OF THOSE WHO ALSO HAVE AN APPOINTED TIME TO DIE. Sadly, THE ATTENTION IS TEMPORARY SO THEY MUST REMAIN IN THIS CAREER TO KEEP UP WITH THEIR GOAL TO KEEP THE ATTENTION.
However, the major issue with that is, WE ALL must give an 'account' when we leave this world, and yes The Lord Jesus has and have called men and women, chose to spread the Word and yes even his judgments now to give us the opportunity to trust him enough to help us to live IN Him while He guides us and directs us to live for the ONE TRUE GOD AND SPIRIT (THE LORD JESUS\).
While some may believe that the Word is for Christians only, or as the most popular world says CHURCH PEOPLE, THE BIBLE IS FOR ALL. Though it's not believed by many, their unbelief doesn't stop the WORD OF GOD FROM BEING TRUE.
BELIEVING IN THE WORD OF GOD IS NOT A RELIGION, BUT HOLINESS: IT'S A SPIRITUAL FAITH, BELIEVING THE ONE SPIRIT WHOSE NAME IS JESUS AND OBEYING HIS WILL ONLY!
Philippians 2:10-11
That at the name of JESUS every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
