God is Love

To know God is to know love. The essential power that is the key thing to remain connected with the Lord, is love. There must be a longing ‘spiritual’ desire to want the Lord as our personal Savior, Deliverer, Father, and Friend; and so much more!

The world is unable to identify with the Lord and his word if the individual is not receptive to ‘hear’ the Word of God. In hearing the Word of God, he will teach us ‘HOW’ to love him and ourselves first. This love will then spread to his people, and our spouses and family members. The Spirit of God brings invaluable power to love in spite of, because the Holy Spirit reigns in our hearts and minds. Love will be the practiced ‘thing’ that we will ‘desire’ to rehearse every day without attempting to control people and their lives.

Love will lead us to pray for others and their families, give to those in need, be the instrumental vessel used by the Spirit of God to draw mankind closer to the Lord Jesus. Why, because GOD IS LOVE!

1st John 4:16 (KJV)

And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
